Victoria Paterson is a New York City violinist and the executive director of Mostly Modern Projects, which includes the American Modern Ensemble and the Mostly Modern Festival in Saratoga Springs, New York. She spent the pandemic working for Sing for Hope as the project leader for live music, with 3-5 musicians every single day, seven days a week, performing at the Jacob Javits NYC vaccination center in 2021. Her work with Sing for Hope continues to flourish, now as the Director of Community Arts. Mostly Modern Pops also took off since the pandemic, invigorating public spaces and parks, with, for example, weekly concerts at the iconic Chelsea Market NYC.

Victoria is loved for her diversity and musicality. Comfortable with classical, modern, and pop music, she performs everywhere from Carnegie Hall, Birdland, Madison Square Garden, to Late Night with Seth Meyers, to The Today Show. She spans a 20-year career on Broadway, having held full-time chairs at My Fair Lady, West Side Story, Sunset Boulevard and The Addams Family. Highlights include performing at Chelsea Clinton's wedding, playing for President Joe Biden, Pope Benedict XVI, Michelle Obama, Diane Sawyer, Nancy Pelosi, the Chief Rabbi of Israel, going on two Barbara Streisand tours, and much more. Victoria is passionate about and loves collaborating with her husband, Robert Paterson, and celebrating his breathtaking and stunning music. She contracts for opera companies such as On Site Opera and her favorite non-profits are Sing for Hope and all things Mostly Modern.
