The floating chamber-music series, once conservative to the point of suffocation, is now light on its feet. Evidence comes by way of a pair of programs (both featuring the jazz bassist John Pattitucci and the vocalist Dina Fanai) by Deoro, a duo made up of the cellist Dave Eggar and the percussionist Chuck Palmer. In the (acoustic) first concert, they team up with the American Modern Ensemble to perform works by Bach, Ravel, and Messiaen, in addition to new fare by Pattitucci and David Chesky; the (plugged-in) second concert features contributions from the violinist Mari Kimura and the composer-performer Elliott Sharp.
